What is the advantage of applying online?

  • A web application requires no installation.

  • Applicants and staff can use it anywhere there is access to the internet.

  • The facility provides instant feedback. Data can be validated when entered and any mistakes can immediately be corrected.

  • The UCAS Website has the latest courses information.

  • Institutions will be able to decide whether they would like to use the billing method to settle applicant fees, or allow the applicants to pay online by credit/debit card, or a mixture of both.

  • Staff will be able to check on the progress of applicants' form before the forms are sent to UCAS.

  • Large areas of text, for example, the personal statement can be copied and pasted on to the form.
